Benefits

The benefits of the Freedom Pass

There's more than 20 attractions to visit and the more you visit, the more you save.  The Freedom Pass gets rid of the need to carry a lot of cash around and helps control your spending.

Can I visit an attraction more than once?

Yes!  Unlike other schemes, you have the Freedom to make the choices you want and where you want to go!

Are the 2 or 3 day Passes valid for consecutive days?

No!  Once activated, you have up to 14 days to use your pass using the individual days as and when it suits you.

Lost & Stolen Passes

I've lost (or had stolen) my Pass

Simply report your pass lost/stolen via your online account at www.thefreedomof.com/login or by calling our 24 / 7 call centre on 0800 634 7020.  Your original pass will be cancelled and a new pass issued to you with the remaining balance transferred.  Please note, we can not refund for lost/stolen passes.

Groups and concessions

Can we get a group or concession discount?

No, the Freedom Pass scheme is already discounted and is for everyone.  If you are interested in a group visit, please contact info@thefreedomof.com and we'll be happy to help.

How it works

What is a Freedom Pass?

A Freedom pass is a pass that you purchase that then allows you free entry into participating attractions and activity centres involved in the scheme.  The more you visit, the more you save

How does the Pass work?

You should show your pass at the entry point (or quote the 9 digit code to the activity centre/tour operator if booking an activity) and it will be validated.  No entry fees or activity fees will then be payable as the value for entry comes off of your pass.

Where can I buy a Freedom Pass?

Here online on the buy now page!

How long is the Pass valid for?

It's valid for the number of days purchased i.e. 1 day, 2 day, 3 day or 6 day, up to the wallet value of the pass.  If you purchase a 3 day pass for example, it can be used for any 3 days within 14 days of activiation.  Your pass is activated on the first time you use it at an attraction.

What happens if I change my date of my trip?

Not a problem.  Your pass is valid for 12 months from date of purchase and will be activiated when you first use it giving you more Freedom

What if I delete the email the pass is sent with?

You can access your account online by going to www.freedomofthelakedistrict.co.uk/login and going to 'e-tickets/passes' and re-printing.

Savings

Freedom Pass Costs

Costs of your Freedom Pass will depend upon your chosen adventure - whether it's sightseeing attractions or you want an activity and sightseeing break.  See the 'buy now' page for details

How much can I save?

Savings with your Freedom Pass can be over £100 on your days out.  The more you visit, the more you save.

How do I get shop discounts?

By showing your Freedom Pass when paying for goods at the participating shops.

Transport

Does the Pass include public transport?

No, not yet.  You have transport within the Freedom Pass that includes 2 minibus tour operators but not public transport.

Validity

How long is the Pass valid for?

The pass is valid for 12 months after purchase and is activated when you visit your first attraction.  Once activated, you have 14 days to use the individual days on your pass.

How do I use my remaining value as a voucher against a new pass purchase?

The nine digit alpha-numeric code shown just above the barcode can be used as a 'promotional code' voucher in the shopping basket.  Simply put the 9 digit code into the 'voucher' box when buying your new Freedom Pass and the balance of the old pass will be taken off of the value of your shopping basket.

Please remember that you can only do this within 12 months of purchasing your original Freedom Pass and once you enter the code, all remaining value will be taken and your original pass will become invalid.

How do you define a child?

A child age is between 5 and 15 years of age.  Below this, the child will not require a pass, above this age, they'll be classed as an adult.

Why do I need identification?

You will be asked for identification when entering attractions for additional security to ensure you are the purchaser.  Your help will be appreciated; we're asking to help protect your Pass!
